Health is Not Having Symptoms???

I often tell patients they need to have their children examined for spinal misalignments (subluxations).  Many spinal problems are hereditary.
Often, the response is they have no pain or feel no symptoms, so why should they get checked?
We are being misled by Big Pharma into believing if you have no pain or symptoms you are fine.
There is a pill for just about any symptom you can have and Pharma flaunts it everywhere.
We have all heard the story of the healthy, active person, who was a poster-boy for health and one day they have a heart attack and die.  They had no symptoms and appeared healthy, but deep down they were slowly dying, and they didn't know it.

Please let me explain what the real truth on health is.  Life flows through your nervous system.  What happens to your health if there is interference between the brain, nervous system (highway system connecting the brain to the body), and body?  People start losing health, every time, there is an interference with this communication.  In chiropractic, this interference is called a subluxation.  A subluxation immediately inhibits the expression of life. 

Only 8-12% of the nervous system is sensory, meaning what you feel.  The other 88-92% does not relay pain or sensation.  Thus, 88-92% of your nervous system controls functions of your body you are unaware of on a second-to-second basis.  What if there are communication issues within that
88-92% of your nervous system?

Would you allow your child or a loved one, or anyone you care about, into a vehicle with a drunk driver behind the wheel???   Subluxations distort your body's expression of optimal health and reality, just as a drunk driver has a distorted view of reality.  In other words, subluxations alter optimal health expression by inhibiting proper function of the nervous system.  Subluxations are caused by physical, chemical, and emotional stressors.  A body that malfunctions enters a state of
dis-ease and ultimately you encounter ill health.  Medicine focuses on disease, while Chiropractors focus on the cause.  Subluxation is the cause of the dis-ease and ill health.  Thus, the logical solution to restoring health is to correct the subluxation, not just mask it with pills.  Taking pills for getting rid of symptoms is similar to taking a can of black spray paint, and when the oil light in your car comes on informing of a problem, you just spray paint the light black so you don't see it.  If you mask this alarm signal, do you think it will go away???  It will always develop into something worse, which will cause more damage.  This is not different from our bodies.

Have everyone you know, love and care about, checked for subluxations by an experienced chiropractor.  Hopefully, you will never know what potential ill health you may have prevented if a subluxation is found and ultimately corrected.

Designed for Failure
More and more people are wondering today why systems of government and corporate enterprise don't seem to be working. The health care system fails to create good health, and the food production system fails to nourish. Why are these systems failing people over and over again?

The answer -- which may surprise you -- is that many systems are designed to fail from the very start.

The health care system, for example, would collapse if people really got healthy and started taking vitamin D, eating healthier foods, exercising regularly and taking care of their own health. So the health care system encourages "maintenance" of disease rather than preventing or curing disease. Disease "maintenance" is profitable, while disease prevention is not. That's why the health care system is designed to fail at its primary stated purpose: creating good health. If it actually succeeded, it would put itself out of business.

Each of these systems works much like a cancer tumor, incessantly seeking to expand its size by redirecting support resources to itself. In cancer, this process is called angiogenesis. In government, it's called a "budget increase," and every agency, department and group within government always seeks to grow larger and command a more lucrative budget.

To accomplish this, it must stay relevant to some enormous problem in society. If the National Cancer Institute, for example, discovered a cure for cancer and shared it with the public, the entire organization would suddenly become irrelevant and see its operating budgets collapse. It is the ongoing search for cancer -- not its cure -- that keeps the NCI in business. That's why no cure for cancer will ever be publicized... it runs counter to the very existence of the cancer industry!
By the way, a clear example of the antics and charades of the American Medical Association in vehemently opposing a very promising and proven cure for certain cancers, is watching The Dr. Burzynski Movie. The AMA did everything it could to suppress, condemn and jail a medical doctor who showed substantial improvements with his cancer treatment. It is jaw-dropping.

As you read this list, keep in mind that the individual people working in these systems are often well-meaning, ethical individuals who are trying to do their best. They usually have little awareness, however, that the system in which they are functioning was never designed to achieve success in the first place.

#1) The Health Care System is designed to fail. As already mentioned, the health care system would collapse overnight if it actually taught people how to stay healthy and prevent disease. For every major disease now ravaging the world -- cancer, heart disease, diabetes -- there already exist a multitude of natural cures and highly effective prevention strategies that are affordable, safe and effective. Yet none of these are shared with the public, and in nearly all U.S. states, doctors who even attempt to share such knowledge can be arrested, charged with crimes and have their medical licensed revoked.

Instead of teaching prevention and cures, the health care system prefers to keep people trapped in a system of never-ending medical dependence. "Health" is never the goal. The real goal is to profit as much as possible from the ongoing suffering and sickness of the population at large.

After all, the sicker the population gets, the more high-profit drugs they'll be prescribed by the very same doctors who are routinely bribed by the drug companies.
This is why it is best to focus on maximizing the potential of the spine and nervous system's function with regular chiropractic care.
After all, it was Thomas Edison who stated "The doctor of the future will give no medicine, but will interest his patients in the care of the human frame, in diet, and in the cause and prevention of disease."
A true genius.

#2) The Food Production System is designed to fail to nourish the population. If people are eating so much food, you might wonder why they are so malnourished in terms of the natural vitamins and minerals that are supposed to be present in real food.
The answer is that the U.S. food production system is intentionally designed to cause nutritional deficiencies that lead to runaway food cravings and widespread food addictions.

Processed food companies intentionally remove nearly all the important nutrients from food during manufacturing: healthy oils, minerals, vitamins, phytonutrients, fiber and more. What's left is a delicious but nutritionally worthless mass of heavily refined food ingredients (HFCS, sugar, white flour, etc.) which promote food addictions and ongoing hunger (i.e. repeat business).

The human body will always signal "hunger" when it is deficient in essential minerals -- the very same minerals which are intentionally removed from processed foods. That never-ending hunger leads to addictive eating habits that enrich the processed food companies. They actually depend on obese, desperate food addicts in much the same way that crack dealers depend on crack addicts for repeat business.

If the U.S. food supply were designed to nourish the population, it would consist largely of whole, nutritionally-intact foods that deliver the building blocks of good health and disease prevention.

Instead, we get Wonder Bread, Froot Loops and Skittles -- three glaring examples of a disastrously failed food supply engineered to keep people in a state of perpetual nutritional starvation even while they're eating themselves into obesity and cancer.

Take 100% Responsibility for your Health

Many patients tell me they don't have the time to exercise, work-out, or come in for their adjustments.
I try to explain, health is cumulative, just like disease.  It doesn't happen any other way.  It takes the body, on average, 6 months to 1 year, to positively adapt to improved muscular, circulatory and structural spinal changes, which occur during this positive, physical transition.

The Flu Shot???
The flu shot media blitz and bombardment has started. Be an educated consumer and know your rights to say know. Recall what happened last year to Piers Morgan when he received his first ever flu shot by Dr. Oz. He got gravely ill and had to miss 2 weeks of his show, due to severe side effects. And that was his first shot ever. Imagine the cumulative effects of multiple, yearly injections.
My family and I have never received a flu shot, nor vaccinations, and never will.
The Autism Action Network reported that there are 900 strains of flu and the flu shot contains antigens to only three of these. According to their organization, the effectiveness of vaccinations against the selected antigen is often negligible.
They state that "half of all flu shots still contain quantities of mercury wildly in excess of maximum daily exposure limits set by the FDA. A forty pound four year-old child injected with a mercury-containing flu shot would be exposed to more than 1400% mercury considered acceptable for an adult."
There were many serious adverse effects of the flu vaccine reported during the post-approval use, namely:
* Thrombocytopenia (abnormally low platelet count, which can result in abnormal bleeding)
* Guillain-Barre syndrome
* Myelitis (spinal cord inflammation)
* Optic neuritis (inflammation of the optic nerve)
* Lymphadenopathy (enlarged lymph nodes)
* Facial palsy (Bell's palsy)
* Paresthesia (numbness/tingling of the skin)
* Itchy skin
* Anaphylaxis (life-threatening whole-body allergic reaction)
* Stevens-Johnson syndrome
* Vasculitis (inflammatory destruction of blood vessels)
* Difficulty breathing, shortness of breath
* Chest pain
* Brachial neuritis (excruciating unilateral shoulder pain, followed by paralysis of shoulder)
* Pharyngitis and rhinitis (inflammation of the throat or pharynx, and the nose, respectively)
* Convulsions, fainting, dizziness, and even death
Despite knowing that this vaccine has caused the above side effects, the government once again is recommending it this year.
Last year the flu vaccine was also said to be responsible for the death of a healthy seven year-old girl, who went for an annual check-up at her local doctor's office and received the flu vaccination. The next day she was reported to feel unwell with a fever and a headache and she died in her mother's arms just a few days later.
MAKE AN INFORMED AND EDUCATED CHOICE!!!

Back-to-School Backpack Safety

Now that it is back-to-school, I often get asked by parents and students, "how should I choose a backpack and how much weight can I pack in the backpack to prevent spinal problems?"
Here are some excerpts from an OMNI NEWS INTERVIEW with Dr. Rino Di Biase.
Choosing a Backpack

  • Choose a backpack that is proportionate to body size and not larger than what is needed. The top of the backpack should not extend higher than the top of the shoulder, and the bottom should not fall below the top of the hipbone.
  • Select a backpack made of lightweight material(vinyl or canvas instead of leather)
  • The shoulder straps should be at least 2 inches wide, adjustable, and padded.
  • The backpack should have a padded back for added comfort and protection.
  • A waist belt helps to effectively redistribute as much as 50-70% of the weight off the shoulders and spine and onto the pelvis, equalizing the strain on the bones, joints, and muscles
  • Choose a backpack that has several individual pockets instead of one large compartment. This will help to distribute the weight evenly and keep contents from shifting
Carrying a Backpack

  • Slinging the backpack on one side can cause the spine to lean towards the opposite side placing stress on the joints and muscles in the mid and lower back. This will increase the likelihood of back problems later in life.
  • Wear both straps and adjust them so that the pack fits snugly to the body and it doesn’t dangle loosely to the side. You should be able to slide your hand between the backpack and your back. This positioning will reduce strain on your back, shoulders, and neck.
  • Using the waist strap reduces the strain on your back and transfers some of the load to your hips.
  • A backpack that is too heavy or too low will cause you to lean forward and carry full weight on the upper back.
Backpacks should never exceed 15% of the child’s body weight (ie. a 40 kg child should not carry more than 6 kg in the backpack). For elementary children, try to keep the weight in their packs below 10% of their body weight.

Your home base

You have a "home base" in your body. We're not talking baseball. This base is in you - the base of your spine. It supports you; you couldn't sit, stand, walk or run without it. Your hips, your pubic bones and your sacrum (the middle part that holds your lower back) constitute your base. Where your sacrum and hips meet is known as the sacroiliac joint.

Your entire spine sits on your sacrum - your hips connect to your sacrum and your legs connect to your hips.
